The Parlotones is a quartet of white African children, the music that sounds like they are adults not on the prairies of South Africa and come somewhere from the neighborhood with The Killers in Greenwich Village. Despite the influence of the same The Killers, the band has their own trademark style, which threatens to eventually eclipse the early heroes of the indie-rock.
The Parlotones began their career in 2006, playing in nightclubs at five, six audience, but by 2008 their CD «Radiocontrolledrobot» went platinum in South Africa. In support of successful records, they gave more than 400 concerts across America, Europe and Africa and were made at various festivals in conjunction with Kings of Leon, The Gossip, Violent Femmes, Jimmy Eat World, New Model Army, Evanescence, Staind, The Rasmus, UB40 and Collective Soul, Starsailor, The Wombats and Razorlight.
The famous band from South Africa, The Parlotone now makes the world tour “Stardust Galaxies”. Returning from Dubai to their home in Cape Town they go to the world tour. Their performance will consist of a presentation of the first The Parlatones album. It includes 12 tracks. According to the musicians themselves – it is best that they have recorded since 2006.
